The Rotary Club of Pickering honoured the Shiv Bansal Team for their pivotal role in making the 2025 Pickering Rotary Ribfest a great success.
Shiv Bansal, a well-known realtor in the Durham Region, received a plaque presented in appreciation of his team’s contribution this year at the Club’s regular meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025.
The team supports several nonprofit organizations in the region, including Ajax Pickering Hospital and the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
In the inaugural year of their support for the Pickering Rotary Ribfest, the Shiv Bansal Team sponsored the water station for all three days of the City’s largest outdoor festival, which drew more than 30,000 visitors this year.
Upon receiving the plaque, Bansal committed to supporting the Ribfest in a similar fashion going forward.
