Dr. Cameron Walter teaches rehearsal techniques, conducting and instrumental pedagogy at the University of Toronto. He holds the Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Toronto and the Doctor of Education degree from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

 

He also teaches collaborative performance and music business skills at the Conference for Performers in Italy at Università Popolare di Roma and has an extensive background as trombonist with the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet Orchestra, Tafelmusik and the Hannaford Street Silver Band. Active as a band clinician and adjudicator, he has conducted the University of Toronto Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony and Brass Band.
