Kaye Jackson lives in Cobourg and is a co-founder of CANRAD – the Canada/Kenya Rarieda Development Program. Kaye is a former nurse and nurse educator/administrator and was a member of the senior administrative team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Kaye is a board member and officer of a number of not-for –profit organizations. Kaye is passionate about the need for education of girls and women.
 
On Tuesday June 28, 2011 Kaye will speak at Pickering Rotary on "The Uncertain Business of Doing Good" and will discuss the political, economic, social and cultural environment surrounding "doing good" that she has seen and experienced in the 6 short years of visiting Kenya and overseeing the CANRAD Project. CANRAD – is a project designed to educate orphan and destitute girls in rural western Kenya.
