The Rotary Club of Pickering organizes an annual Thanksgiving Food Drive to support our community members in need through St Paul's on-the-Hill Community Food Bank. Please feel free to drop off any nonperishable food items during the food drive between 11am and 4pm on Sunday, October 5 at the Derek's Your Independent Grocer location at 1900, Dixie Road (Dixie Rd & Finch Ave.) Canned legumes and soups, Kraft Dinner, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jam/jelly and other such items can be dropped of. If you are shopping at the store, you may also purchase a few items and drop off on your way out. Gift cards and cash donations are also accepted - Rotary volunteers will be on site. |
